Price gouging. Beware. Is the service good? Yes. Are the staff friendly? Yes. Do they have a good selection. Mediocre. I spent $915 on a pair of glasses there and lost them the day that I picked them up. I tried to get the same lenses on a more affordable pair of frames and they wanted to charge me $438 just for the lenses. I would think they would want to retain customers, but apparently not.

This is my second time going there and both times the staff both front office and back office were very professional, answered any and all of my questions I had, & made sure I understood their response / answer. Everybody had smiles and I just cannot say enough about my very positive experience. That is why I come from out of town to this particular office in Vacaville because they're always so welcoming happy smiling professional and they go out of their way to help you with what you need. They’re paying to have bad google reviews removed.. so do your due diligence and check yelp also. I’m writing to shed light on the shadiness of this office. Shame because it is one of the only optho’s close by, so they basically have a monopoly on Vacaville and Fairfield. I was first referred to Dr Sandler by my PCP.. had an ongoing problem in my left eye; swelling and redness. First visit to Dr Sandler, he placed me on ketoralac (toradol) drops, which are basically ibuprofen for the eye. They use this to decrease inflammation before trying steroids. After the toradol showed no improvement, he put me on a steroid eye drop, and prescribed it at least 5x in total, over the next one year. Very nice staff and doctor. I don't recommend buying eye glasses there. I could not use the bifocal glasses the girl sold me for five hundred dollars. I returned them for regular reading glasses and did not get a refund. Regular glasses are cheaper but this office did not accept my insurance as most companies would.
