SoFloPT REHAB NORTH

I went to SoFloPT for help with recovery from a calf and knee injury that occurred a while ago. I was nervous at first, but the friendly staff quickly made me feel at ease. The facility is immaculate, and everyone there is kind and very professional. I specifically work with Dr. Minacshee Augustin. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is amazing. She really took the time to listen to me about my injuries, symptoms and concerns. Her guidance for my PT routine was well thought out. I’ve been following her instructions every week and I literally have felt better every day since the first day I met with her. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a quality PT experience.

SoFloPT rehab located near downtown Fort Lauderdale off of 9th street is a clean and has all the modern day equipment you need for a great workout. I came here for rehab after my total knee replacement surgery. Minacshee Augustin was my main physical therapist and I met with her two days after my surgery, and when I was still in a lot of pain. She was very knowledgeable in what exercises needed to be performed, good diet recommendations, and had a lot of experience dealing with patients like myself, who had just came out out of major knee surgery. I did my rehab for a full three months, 3 days per week, and was able to make solid strength gains, and almost 120° flexion in my knee. April 2025 A spinal cord surgery left me with S1damage from my lumbar to my toes on my right side. I showed up for my first appointment hobbling with a walker not sure if I would ever walk on my own again. I am so grateful and owe so much to these beautiful people at So Flo. I truly believe it is because of Hunter, her optimistic outlook and perseverance while working on my recovery enabled me to transition seamlessly from a walker to a cane to a limp and now less than a year later…I have my stride back. Hunter, Kristin and the entire So Flo staff are miracle workers and if I ever get married again, I told Hunter she is walking me down the aisle. The atmosphere at SoFlo is modern, light, upbeat and inspirational which for me made my recovery that much easier and enjoyable. 🩷

I went to SoFlo PT for physical therapy following rotator cuff surgery. My experience was excellent and thanks to Dr. Hunter Thompson expertise and guidance my recovery was successful. Hunter facilitated home exercises electronically and in print which were key to my recovery as well. The initial and subsequent assessments were thorough which kept me informed so feel free to ask questions and express your concerns as they will be addressed. In addition to Hunter’s great care, the facility is kept pristine clean and all the other Drs. and staff members are very friendly and ready to help.

When I first came to South Florida PT I was in terrible pain with my lower back and my left arm after two weeks. The pain was almost all and I am coming back since then I bounce is better by walking is better I have to thank Hunter for helping me come to this point. She has been wonderful showing like showing me what exercises I need to do to get better. I can’t tell you how much the difference is since I started there and I owe it all to Hunter and the rest of the girls.
