I can’t say enough wonderful things about this dental office! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the most caring and friendly staff who truly make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The Dr Kim is absolutely amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything clearly so you always know what’s happening and why. The level of care and attention to detail is outstanding, and you can truly tell they care about their patients and their comfort. This is hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful to have found such an incredible dentist and team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional care!

I have been coming here for the last 5 or so years after a terrible series of experiences at a large nationwide chain with a location in Costa Mesa; it has been night and day switching to SoCal Smiles. I’ve had nothing but pleasant encounters each visit, so much so that I referred my husband to become a patient here too! Helena at the front desk and the dental assistants are very personable and take the time to go through any potential concerns with teeth or billing. Dr. Kim is approachable and non-judgmental and was a big reason why I continued coming to SoCal Smiles, even after moving 20 miles south. He has now been joined by Dr. Lai as the other in-house provider, who my husband and I now see and the transition has been seamless.

This was my first time. The dental office is very clean and welcoming. Dr. James, is a seasoned, highly skilled Dentist. The front office staff team is very professional, patient, and organized.The Dental Hygienist performance is outstanding. I will be returning and I recommend this Dental Office without any reservations.

From the front desk to the doctor himself, this place is filled with kind, professional experts. They run their practice with honesty and empathy, two things not commonly found in a dentist practice in my experience. Their work is also exceptional. I had a chipped tooth repaired twice in a year by my previous dentist before I switched to SoCal and I haven't had to get it repaired since, 2+ years later. They are gentle and tell you what they're doing while they do it, while being friendly. If you want an excellent dentist experience to actually look forward to, come here!!

This has been my dentist for a few years now. It's a quality business with courteous people. I have never had unnecessary work recommended to me. There was one occasion where I doubted that I really needed to put a crown on a tooth that had been filled from every angle so I went to get a second opinion from my former dentist (who I stopped seeing because he's just too far away) and he told me he agreed with my current doctor.
