First off I’d like to say that I never thought I’d go back to school. I loved that this IS a faith based, melanated, family owned & operated school. I am a at times nervous, anxious & negative in my thoughts. The teachers ALL seamlessly quelled these issues directly and indirectly just by being there authentic selves. I observed teachers grab students with positive, supportive, respectful, life filling words & change us into something more. I am 1st grateful to God then the teachers & last the school. We are deserving children of God. I forget this at times too. Yes, it was crazy, scary sometimes I wondered if I could. Every day in class had its challenges but if you want something different you have to WORK. This is a SELF learning school but that doesn’t mean you’re alone it means you ne

I DID IT !! Thank you STEP MEDICAL ! This experience was most humbling but overall rewarding! From the instructors to the administrators it was a breeze! This school was an absolute nightmare. No matter how much you study, it's nearly impossible to pass the exams because the material tested is completely different from what’s taught. There’s no consistency or transparency in grading. The teacher says one thing, but the grader does another, leaving us confused and frustrated. The most troubling aspect is that this is a family-run business, which means there’s no higher authority to address these issues. Unlike in a traditional college or university, where you can escalate concerns to directors or boards, here, there's nowhere to turn if you feel you're being treated unfairly. I enjoyed my experience very much. The teachers were awesome, they were polite and professional. The course provided me with further education resources to help me continue my journey in the Nursing field.

One of the best things that happen to me was this opportunity!! I was able to get help with career source and help a mother of 4 get through school!! Not all schools offer this. I’m so thankful I was able to get through the 9 month program and now waiting to sit for NCLEX. I would def recommend this school and not listen to the negativity.
