Smith's Pharmacy

I’m disappointed with my experience at the Smith’s pharmacy in Springville tonight. I got in line at the drive-thru for the pharmacy at 7:40 PM. There were four cars ahead of me in line. After pulling up, I double checked the hours online, and on both Google and Smith’s website, the advertised closing time of the pharmacy and drive-thru is 8:00 PM. At 7:44 PM, the employee manning the drive-thru switched the sign above the line from “Open”, to “Closed”. I watched this happen in real time, as the line had moved up and I was directly in front of the sign at the moment of the change. I was still last in line, and there were three cars ahead of me. I have two forms of insurance. Often times they don't bill both so I get charged and have to re- inform them of the insurances to bill. After going through multiple techs, one tech was helpful. She figured the billing out and promised to add notes so other techs could use that info. Unfortunately, I got billed AGAIN for a prescription and had to tell the tech about the notes the other tech added My other issue is they seem to be out of stock on a lot of meds

Pretty much obnoxious each time I go. Rx says ready then they aren't. Info wrong numerous times. Wanted to use drive through instead of preferred place with no drive through. Drive through closed. Just annoying. On top of that rude to my dr trying to fill expensive med. Went somewhere else.

I called Saturday the 27th to transfer my prescription because my insurance was being dumb. I gave the tech my name and birthday, prescription info as well as the other pharmacy, and my insurance info. I told her it wasn't a huge rush as it wasn't an absolutely critical medication. I had to work Monday and Tuesday, so the first day I could follow up was Wednesday. I called and they said they didn't have it and would need to call again, to which I said okay. I called Thursday, and they said they still didn't have it and didn't know what I was talking about and they could call again. I said forget it and called my pharmacy to get it refilled without insurance. They said they had transferred it to Smith's on Monday after a pharmacist named Sam called and asked for it. This pharmacy has some top notch pharmacists! This weekend a fill in pharmacist (Matt) was working. I won't go into details, but we had an emergency situation come up that needed to be addressed immediately. The pharmacy was super busy but Matt came through big time. I'm super greatful, thank you!
