I’m not one to leave bad reviews, however, I feel like my honesty may help others. I very much enjoyed this office, the environment was calming and the staff were friendly. However, I felt very anxious every time I visited. I was asked if I wanted unnecessary treatments multiple times, which made me feel pressured and uncomfortable. The dentist would comment on the minimal crowding of my bottom teeth and pushed braces on me more than once, which I’ve never been told I needed in my life. Outside of that, cleanings were treacherous. I felt as though my face was a pumpkin and I was being carved into. My gums were always extremely sore after. Not only that, but they insisted on replacing all of my cavities, even if they were quite small and not completely necessary to remove right away. I j

Smileywood Dental has been such a great experience for me. They truly do everything they can to keep the cost as low as possible, which I really appreciate. It’s a no-frills office in the best way. Calm, efficient, and focused on actually helping you. The entire process feels easy and low stress. As someone with pretty intense dental anxiety, it means a lot to not cry in my car afterwards. They never make me feel judged or uncomfortable. Just kind, honest, attentive care every time.

I finally found a great dentist! After several very bad experiences with other dentists I believe Dr. Zau and the Smileywood Dental staff are a Godsend. From the clean, pristine modern technology equipped offices to the skill and gentle touch of Dr. Zau and auxiliary staff, and very thoughtful and helpful front office I am one very pleased client. I’m very happy with the service at this dental office! I’ve had a few procedures done, and every time the experience has been great. There’s no pain, the dentist is very careful, and everything is always clean and professional. The staff is also wonderful everyone is nice, cordial, and very professional. They’re always on top of their appointments calling to confirm every time and they’re very flexible when it comes to rescheduling or payments. Dr.Zau and her team are the best in LA!!! No matter where I move, I always come back to her. She is a true professional. She fixed my problem teeth two years ago, and I came back for a cleaning and to make sure everything was still great. My X-rays show Dr. Zau's precision work. She treated my root canals, made crowns, and fillings. She and her team are always very attentive, always makes sure you get the most out of your insurance, and it's super easy to book or discuss treatment details.
