SmileLand Pediatric Dentistry - Shady Grove

Dr. Karim and dental hygienist Melissa are super attentive! I was so impressed that Dr. Karim remembers faces no matter how long it’s been since the last appointment. A special thank you to their lovely assistant, Leslie, who made sure my daughter was entertained with her favorite show, Bluey. My daughter gives the session a 9.5/10—she only knocked off half a point because they didn’t recommend braces yet (she is obsessed with getting them)

Such a great experience! The dentist was very gentle and encouraging with my child. The positive words and support made a big difference and helped my child feel brave during the appointment. We truly appreciate the care and kindness. Highly recommend this office!

My son has been going to a Smile Land for a few years and it has been a wonderful experience. All the staff is amazing and have so much patience with the kids. I will continue to bring my little one here.

I'm sharing this experience as a parent as I'm highly disappointed of the last visit we had. While this location is not convenient we chose because of Dr. Karim fir his excellent service. Typically this office staff is amazing. But the last time we went I felt like they took our kindness for weakness. I fully understand that sometimes appts run late for many reasons. It's a good practice to be honest and transparent when that happens. We had a 3:15pm appt and I took off few hours of work and pulled my son early from his school to be on time at the Shady Grove office. We were there on time, while we waited in the waiting room I heard my son's name and I thought they were going to call him. Instead they took a mom with a baby who just walked right in. I love this location! Dr. Kareem is the best! Super gentle and patient with my very active and talkative 5 year old. Best bedside manners I’ve ever experienced. The office is clean and child friendly. The decoration and all the legos are amazing.
