Smart Play Therapy

Kelly has greatly improved my children’s lives. She started seeing my 2 year old when his communication was delayed due to multiple ear infections. Kelly met him at his level and was patient with him. She gave me strategies to use to increase his vocabulary. I was amazed at how easy it was to incorporate simple techniques into our daily routines! Kelly has also worked with my daughter to improver her articulation. She is always excited to go see Ms. Kelly. Her sessions are exciting and play based, which I love! She is quickly making progress and improving in her sounds. Kelly always makes sure I understand her reasoning and gives me ideas of how to work with my daughter at home! I cannot emphasize enough how beneficial and needed she is to our community!

My name is Rod Carpenter. Our grandson is on the Spectrum and has Bethany as his ST. She has been nothing short of amazing. We actually followed her from her previous place of employment. In the short time he has been with Bethany he has been making good progress. SmartPlay is a very clean and inviting environment for the kids to learn. We have no experience with Kelly as a ST but she has been very helpful and going the extra mile working with us regarding an outside issue.

We started at Smart Play therapy a few months ago. Our daughter is non-verbal and we needed to begin introducing her to other forms of communication such as an AAC/IPad device. Kelly has been great thus far familiarizing us with how to use an AAC device. Theres not many speech therapists in our area that have much experience with AAC devices, so we are grateful Kelly opened her clinic and serves our community! It’s an added benefit that our daughter enjoys Kelly along with her office full of toys!
