I was a little skeptical about putting my mom in this nursing home/rehab center for a short stint of rehab but I must say, the staff was very nice. A few times she rang the bell for assistance and waited for awhile but I realize why. There were other residents that needed more attention than my mom did and they are short staffed. Anyway, my mom thought the food was great which was a plus! I feel like the PT was decent but could have been a little better in the strength training area.

My husband Pete had a stroke, weak left side in May of 2024 out of state. Due to other issues since, he has been bouncing around to hospitals and different rehab skilled nursing facilities starting in Georgia and getting back to Pennsylvania, where we live. This facility is an over the top answer to my prayers. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and caring. He is happy and he has a wonderful jolly roommate who actually likes some of the same things. A match for sure. I cannot say enough great things about this facility.

After spending two weeks in the hospital with several issues, we were faced with finding a rehabilitation facility in the area. It was very difficult to choose, because you just never know. However, I could not be more pleased with the care and services that my mother has been provided. Each room is meticulously cleaned on a daily basis. The food is good, and the staff is all so friendly and personable. The therapists are very open and willing to work with you and figure out what your needs and goals are. Everyone is willing to listen to you and help you with any concerns you may have. Obviously, there are times when there are too many people and not enough help on the floor, but you get that anywhere. The benefits and pros far outweigh the cons and negatives. You can feel comfort and conf

They allowed my mother in law to leave before she really should have. I voiced several concerns about wether or not she was ready and they swore she was. My husband and I both work full time which would leave her alone for at least 9 hours a day. They told me not to worry she would be fine and they would set up meals on wheels for her but they didn’t. She is not capable of bathing or even getting dressed on her own so she definitely can’t make herself any meals. She was sent home on a Saturday and we were told physical therapy would be coming to us by Tuesday to help her get more acclimated. When the physical therapist finally called, they said they won’t be coming till Thursday and they made that very clear when they spoke with someone from Slate Belt. Had I not taken time off of work to

This is an absolutely HORRIBLE place. Do NOT put your loved one in this facility! Some of the staff are very rude and disrespectful. My Dad was placed here against his will. They kept my Dad so heavily sedated it was hard for him to stay awake, to communicate with our family, or to take in any nutrition. My Dad told them he didn't want the medication they were using to keep him sedated. I told them myself to respect my Dad's wishes, and to NOT give him any pain relief sedation meds unless he asked for them. They even dismissed my request. Shortly after my Dad arrived to this facility, my Dad passed away in this horrible disrespectful facility. I can't express enough, if you truly love your family member do NOT I repeat do NOT place them in this facility. I wanted my Dad home with me where
