The front desk personalities leave a lot to be desired. The prescriptions take days to be prepared & are very different than other pharmacies when finally ready. Also, their hours of 9:00-5:00 aren't super convenient for the average person + they don't close at 5pm - they are locked up tight before 4:55 so plan to be early if you need to get there at the end of the day.

Had a situation where I ordered a compounded drug I have been ordering for the past 13 years. The delivery device has changed and the one i recieved did not work correctly. at least twice a week the first pump delivery nothing, and the second pump delivers more than one dose. I called spoke to a sweet guy about replacement and was transferred to a pharmacist who basically told me there was ZERO chance the pump did not work correctly. No replacement, no empathy, just go pound sand. Skips used to be great. This was sadly unexpected in terms of customer service. They lost a client and all my referrals. (in response to the comment below: I terminated the call when the person told me 100% no chance there was any issue but .."next time..." and i said there would not be a next time, bye"). Bye.

They do a great job with Ketotifen Fumarate for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. It’s possible to order 6 months at a time here of this specific medication, which makes dealing with compounding medication a lot less of a headache than it was at my previous compounding pharmacy, who was barely able to fill a month at once. I see people giving low reviews for the fact that they don’t take insurance, which is unfair, as no compounding pharmacies take insurance. It’s just the reality of having a compounded medication, insurance companies never cover them. In conclusion, dealing with this disease is awful, so thank you for making my life easier and allowing me to fill 6 months at once, I really appreciate it!

I telephoned Skips Pharmacy regarding a chemotherapy drug that has been prescribed by our veterinarian, as I was/am very concerned about some of the side effects. Lisa, the pharmacist, was most helpful and informative. She explained succiently the pros and known cons of the drug so that my husband and I can make the best decision for our much loved little maltese. She did not try to persuade me in any way - just gave me the facts. We are most appreciative of her knowledge and kindness to us in this most difficult situation to provide the best loving care for our cherished dog. We are most grateful!
