Sisters of Charity Hospital

On 11/25/25 according to the Doctor apparently 7am baby Ayaan Hossain’s IV from his hand came off and he bled from his hand and by the time a hospital employee find out, he already lost significant amount of blood. His bleed level came down to 33 by the time they stopped by bleeding. When I questioned the Nurse & Doctor that how can a baby in NICU with oxygen and feeding tube on without supervision bled out that much blood? The only excuse nurse & doctor had to say was “We are sorry this should have never happened.” I’ve attempted to transfer Ayaan to Oishei Children hospital however Doctor Fijas stated they have everything here the children hospital has and our insurance wouldn’t cover it and I have to pay out of my pocket for the transfer. Had a procedure done at sisters and everyone including reception, transport staff, nurses and doctors provided exceptional care. Everyone was very kind and informative. They took time to answer any questions I had, ensured my family member was present when possible and kept him up to date regarding my status. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. This was my first time at Sisters.

The nurses in both the labor and delivery and mom and baby units are awesome.they treated both me and my wife with kindness and respect. They all need raises. I have never had a group of nurses at a hospital be so kind and understanding. Definitely would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Everyone at the hospital was wonderful. My only complaint would be the front desk female “security” guard. People are in the hospital for sensitive and stressful reasons The way she speaks to people, and her tone with certain individuals is not a great representation of your hospital. She is the first person people come in contact with when entering the hospital. And when I’m being wheeled out after my surgery i wouldn’t expect to hear her talking poorly about me.

Absolutely unacceptable. The Emergency Department at Sisters Hospital is a complete joke. I arrived at MIDNIGHT and it is now 4:30 AM — over four hours later — and I still have not been seen by anyone. This is not a one-time issue. The wait times here are consistently outrageous, with no communication, no updates, and no concern for patients sitting in pain. If you’re having an actual emergency, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. An emergency room should not leave people waiting half the night with zero information. This place clearly does not value patients’ time, comfort, or health. I will never come back.
