I am very disappointed with our recent experience with my daughter's endocrinologist. During our appointment, we specifically discussed checking her cholesterol levels because her previous results showed high numbers. However; when the doctor sent us for lab work, she forgot to include the cholesterol test in the order. I had even mentioned that I didn't have the pediatrician run any labs beforehand because I didn't want my daughter to go through two rounds of blood tests. Unfortunately, now she'll have to go through another blood draw just because this important test was missed. I understand mistakes can happen, but this kind of oversight causes unnecessary stress and discomfort for my daughter. I hope this office takes more care in reviewing lab requests in the future, especially when

Extremely poor communication. I called multiple times and no one answered or returned my calls. It honestly felt like dealing with a ghost office. If you expect to reach someone or receive assistance, be prepared for silence.

Dr Cossio is an amazing physician!!! we love her! she really takes her time, listens and answers all of your questions. she is very thorough and really cares about her patients. my daughter was a patient and i wouldn’t have chosen any other Endo to see her. some may say she’s tough but i rather a doctor tell me the truth then lie and perform unnecessary testing.

Dr. Cossio only gives results if you schedule an appointment and she told me my son was fine and could wait to get growth therapy and might not need it all…. Took my son to another doctor who told me that my son severely needed hormone therapy and his results from Dr. Cossio says he was low in growth hormone. She never told me this!!!! Find another endocrinologist fast!

Dr. Cossio is amazing. She has been my daughter's endo since her first diagnosis at age 4, my daughter is 15 now. Dr. Cossio is caring and compassionate, she will listen to parents concerns and will absolutely help you with any hurdles. The longer waiting times means she is not running from one patient to another rushing to get more patients; she does spend time with the patient and ensures their health needs are met and taken care off. I have stayed with Dr. Cossio through her transition to a new office because she is a great, compassionate doctor.
