My mom comes to Silver Lake Hospital in very poor condition, and the care she receives is truly beyond exceptional. The doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff treat both of us with genuine compassion, professionalism, and kindness, which means everything during such a difficult time. I am allowed to stay in the same room with my mom, and they provide a private room with a sofa so I can sleep there and help take care of her, which makes me feel included and supported as part of her healing. After what my mom and I went through at a previous hospital in Brooklyn, the team here has helped me recover emotionally and rebuild my trust in healthcare. Every person we meet, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, the nurses, doctors, security and the ma

We live in Brooklyn. My father had a severe stroke and was left paralyzed on one side. Before coming here, we tried two rehabilitation centers in Brooklyn that are considered top-rated. Unfortunately, his condition only got worse there, and he developed a Stage IV pressure sore with osteomyelitis and serious complications. On December 12, we were admitted to Silver Lake Hospital in very serious condition with a deep wound, multiple complications, and a tracheostomy. From the first days, it was clear this place was different. The care here is consistent and well organized. Patients are turned every two hours, day and night and this is actually done, not just written down. There is constant monitoring and real attention to details. Most importantly, we saw real improvement the wound got much

I’m from South New Jersey, and after doing a tremendous amount of research, we determined that the best way for my niece to truly get help was through the dual diagnosis program at Silver Lake Hospital. I have had custody of my niece since she was young after her parents passed away, and we have been struggling with her disease for years. Finding the right program felt overwhelming, but after speaking with the admissions department it just felt right. When she was admitted, she was taking 250mg of methadone daily; and within the two months she was there they were able to wean her down to 40mg. For people that don't understand, that is a drastic change and I felt like I got my niece back. We will forever be grateful for the care, dedication, and life-changing support provided by Silver La

Complaint filed at Silver Lake Hospital: To: Silver Lake Hospital I witnessed my friend ****** who was pinned down by the part time police officer of Hackettstown&works as a “security guard” at your facility. The night this incident occurred, the security guard got into a fight with a man on another unit and got beat down by a man he attempted to attack. I have witnessed a death on the unit I started on here on the security monitors. The morning M**t died under the care of these employees who did not follow proper protocols and procedures in a hospital. This gave me and the others who experienced this with me trauma. A*****c was awake with me that morning and saw it as well. D***d was on M**t’s unit and A******y stood near the door and heard M**t gurgling, after the staff here was not d

THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE! IT IS NOT A HOSPITAL OR AN ADDICTION RECOVERY TREATMENT FACILITY The social worker seems nice and to know her job, however does not do it. We have discussed over two weeks the needs of my family members after care plans ( as THEY did not receive ANY addiction counseling or groups or promised one on ones after 8 weeks there) THE OFFERINGS ON THE WEBSITES DUAL DIAGNOSIS PAGE ARE COMPLETELY FALSE. After two weeks of Tayna Write assuring me my family member would be discharged with a solid IOP and transportation if necessary, she waited until the day before to look into it which I told her was a major holiday for me and my availability would be limited. She asked me during religious services if I knew of facilities to look into for her, I rem
