Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County

My Dad had a fall around the first of December 2024. Broke hip and had a partial hip replacement. He was sent to Signature after his surgery. He has been there for 21 days. My wife and I attended one of my Dad's physical therapies, and we were so impressed with his therapist, Ms. Amanda Williams. She was so gentle, through, professional, and attentive to my Dad's needs to get him back to being fully productive. Amanda, was awesome in the front office. Followed up on everything. Very nice ans helpful. Oh by the way, my Dad is 95 years young, very independent, and up to this point, lived on his own.

This is one of the most charming and thoughtful nursing homes I’ve ever seen. The property is set up like a tiny town — with a chapel, general store, and post office. It’s clear they believe elders should be part of a community, not isolated. Places like this give dignity, joy, and a sense of normalcy to people in their later years.

A great facility, and the crew was amazing from the social worker to the cleaning lady. Mrs. Norman, Kacie Hicks and the nurses, the techs and my physical therapist, Olivia and the crew are all such a great group of individuals

GREAT NURSING AND THERAPY STAFF WAS HERE FROM MAY 13 2025 TO AUGUST21 2025 .THEY TREAT THE BODY AS WELL AS THE SOUL. My mother, a resident of this loving facility, celebrated her 100th birthday recently at Signature. And can you believe it, there was a 2nd resident there also celebrating her 100th on the same day. Both the activities group and the staff in general showed how much they love and care about their residents with the party they put on. Would you believe that Shelly, the head of the activities team was able to work with the nearby city government to get both a city proclamation honoring these women and arrange for a fire truck and police car to take them on a parade around the building with lights flashing and the siren blaring. The party by itself was great and showed their love for their residents, but for my mother riding in the fire truck in a parade was an order of magnitude bette
