Signature HealthCARE of Palm Beach

Over the years my mom has had several incidents requiring rehab. She had several stays in Signature however last year she had an incident which required rehab. Signature had no beds and we had to place her in another facility. In fact she was in one facility and discharged only to have to return to a different facility as she was not fully ready to come home. The care at both facilities DOES NOT compare to Signature. A few weeks ago my mother had hip replacement and by the grace of God there was a bed open at Signature. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, nurses and therapists. Her first day in, physical therapy called to advise me of their plan as well as culinary to ask about food allergies and likes and dislikes. My father has been placed there three times since 2020. I have been pleased with the staff there, from the therapists (both occupational & physical) to housekeeping. They are friendly, effective and very hospitable. The facilities are clean, food is good. They are like family to my dad and I feel good leaving him there. I would recommend Signature to any family in need of skilled nursing for their loved one.

My mom was at signature for several weeks. She did very well. The rehab staff was excellent and very kind to her. She had great progress. I found the nursing staff and administration to be so helpful, they always were available and generous with time. I was especially thankful for their reassurance and assitance on all matters of my mom s care. Finally I can not say enough good things about the food and the quality... every day was a treat and my mom really thrived and was able to heal quicker with good food. I want to thank the staff at signature for doing such a good job and ministering to the patients and family as well. Excellent

Mom was discharged to Signature from Bethesda after hip replacement surgery, with a horrid bed sore. While there were several really great people among the Signature staff, a clear lack of cohesiveness and teamwork was evident. Staff didn’t seem to be working together, helping each other or focusing on care of the patients. The nurse station was frequently unattended leaving us to catch someone as they passed by. It was impossible to reach someone for a status on mom after visiting hours. Pain management was poor, with frequent nurse bell rings needed for more medication. We were not permitted to stay the night. Mom would never ring the bell or ask for help. She would get up on her own and was a huge fall risk. Every employee was outstanding! They showed true compassion. Patient alerts were answered in a timely fashion. Nursing staff was always available and knowledgeable. The therapists were educated in their field, varied the exercises, and ensured my progress. Kudos to all employees.
