Shriners Children's Corporate Headquarters

I am a proud Shriners Supporter and Donor. After becoming an amputee as an adult I realized that not everyone has the same resources I have. I appreciate the feedback I receive regarding those I have helped. Shriners mission is truly a substantial movement.

On 9/26/19 I had the privilege of touring the headquarters. Was shown all the rich and remarkable history of Shriners. Then went to the hospital to see some of the most incredible outpouring of love, professionalism and cutting edge technology that is used to help children with their medical needs. I am privileged to have the opportunity to give to Shriners. Also shout out to Norma at headquarters front desk, Dave at the hospital and especially to Katie Wyatt!!!!! My child had a terrible and traumatic hospital experience at one of the Shriners locations. I filed a compliance complaint I was contacted by their chief compliance officer, Mr. Stephens who listened and took down our concerns. Mr Stephen’s said he would follow up with me. A month went by, nothing. I emailed him asking for an update, he said he would get in touch in a week… nothing. Another month went by, I reached out to him again, nothing. Was completely ghosted. It’s been over 6 months now and he never followed up or responded to another email. The first experience with Shriners was bad enough and now this, felt like even at the corporate level my child’s experience doesn’t matter. I will never take my child to a Shriners again.

I am a Shriner. This is the headquarters for all Shriners. The tour tells you about the greatest philanthropy on earth, and the history of the Shriners. There is an unexpected display included in the room that shows off all of the Shriner's memorabilia, as it has the guns used by John Wayne in his movies.

I really just wanted to see the "giant" shriner. He wasn't so very big. cool that he is there - but a driveby from the highway is enough if you are collecting roadside attractions. Shriners do good work - this is just a review of the building.
