ShopRite Pharmacy of Hamden

I've been coming to the ShopRite Pharmacy in Hamden for over 15 years, and I can confidently say that John McCarthy and his team are second to none. Their knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to help are truly exceptional. I live in Wallingford, but I make special trips to this location simply because the level of service and professionalism is unmatched. It’s rare these days to find a pharmacy team that consistently goes above and beyond for their customers. I’m very grateful to have them as my pharmacy team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality care and service.

I must say, this is by far the best pharmacy I've ever came across! The pharmacist John and all of the technicians are always professional. They listen to their customers, and answer any questions you may have for them with a clear understanding. I highly recommend this pharmacy to any and everyone.

This is a review on my mom's behalf. We recently switched to ShopRite Pharmacy for her numerous medications from Apex. In the past, it's been part of my daughterly duties to pick up scripts as needed. Apex has a big problem with basic customer service. They don't call or notify when the script will be ready and you're lucky to get an acknowledgement when you walk up to the counter, but typically there it's like you're bothering them to do their job. I'm not talking about the teenagers who work the registers either, I'm talking about the adult pharmacy staff. Apex stinks. ShopRite on the other hand, is a doable walk for my mom. I can't say enough good things about Shoprite Pharmacy on Dixwell Avenue in Hamden . Everyone behind the counter is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. My prescriptions are refilled promptly and accurately with text and a phone call to remind me to pick them up. Such great service I would recommend this Pharmacy to all my friends and family.

ShopRite Pharmacy provided me with COVID vaccines. My health has been improving ever since. Sometimes it takes a welcoming person to open a door that was closed. Thank you for the kind service.
