Had an appt with Liz Thompson on 2/18/26. I'm a patient at Ivy Ridge for about 2 years now. Maribel DuPont was the first dermatologist. They look to be doing the same friendly, always upbeat actions from check-in person to the assistant with the dermatologist. Accommodating on trying to get their lobby and rooms warmed up enough for patients. That's definitely a plus for having most of your clothes off. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Liz and look forward to seeing her again in a year, if not sooner. Hopefully won't have to go sooner. Froze about 5 or 6 spots total. Thanks again to these wonderful people.

I really enjoy seeing Brittney; she is a wonderful practitioner! The rest of the organization leaves a lot to be desired. In the last 3 months, my appointments have been cancelled without my request and there was no communication to me regarding the change. At one event, I even showed up to the office to find out my appointment had been cancelled. Today, when the office contacted me to confirm an appointment for 2/3, I inquired about my 1/28 appointment, and was told it had been cancelled and they didn't know why. While whomever called was very nice, they could not offer an appointment until April. This was for cosmetic services - not general dermatology.

Rushed through appt. We hadn’t even completed paperwork yet. Missed spot. When I asked for her to look at it after, nurse came out and said it was nothing to worry about. When I asked if she could freeze it, said doctor already signed off on my notes and would have to charge another visit. I said forget it. Biggest complaint- rushed like at the horse races. I got a call back a few days later to come in for a free look at the spot she missed. I went in and she froze the spot for no charge. I’m now a happy patient.

Staunton office---Ms Drozdo (not a doctor) couldn't identify a lesion on my hand, so she froze it. Lesion swelled up to several times its original size, filled up with pus and was painful for 4-5 weeks. Has finally returned to its original condition after those several weeks of discomfort. Another doctor recognized Ms Drozdo's treatment as an error. Perhaps after Drozdo has more experience or additional training, she'll be more reliable. I'll stick with actual doctors going forward. The office staff (medical and otherwise) could also use some training in public relations. Not rude, but no warmth or pleasant personalities.

I was a patient of theirs for several years and had a mole removed with them. I have no complaints about the dermatologists who work there and found them to be very professional. I decided to no longer continue my services with this office owing to a billing dispute where the billing office failed to submit a claim to my insurance in a timely fashion and then repeatedly failed to send me a paper bill for services rendered. The billing office was difficult to work with, evasive, and repeatedly stated they would send a paper bill by mail only to consistently fail to do so. I also dislike that this group often changes the location of visits, but penalizes patients for arriving only a few minutes late when the doctors themselves often do not see the patients for more than 15 minutes beyond th
