I couldn’t be happier with my experience here! I was extremely nervous going into my appointment, as it had been a while since I’d seen a dentist. The front desk staff was incredibly inviting and friendly, and the office was spotless. My hygienist, Melissa C., was fantastic—she walked me through every single step of the process and washed away all of my fears and anxiety. She checked on me frequently to make sure I was doing okay, which I found extremely considerate. Dr. Murrell was very kind and explained everything in detail, making me feel confident that my teeth are in great hands! I’m so glad I made the switch to this office, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience after such a long time.

Dr. Murrell fixed my broken molar and did an excellent job! He is the Michelangelo of dentists! Staff was super friendly and my hygienist left my teeth sparkling clean. I will be back, commuting all the way from Fenton.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Please DO NOT take your child to this dentist. Not only is he rude, arrogant and very non personal, my 7 year old is completely traumatized from our experience. We went in for my child’s extraction, when she was nervous and scared, he did not offer any type of support or words of encouragement. He did not speak to her or acknowledge her at all. When she didn’t lay back in the chair because she was sitting up blowing her nose, he repeatedly told her to lay back . He was so impatient he sent us on our way to another dentist which I am thankful for because the lack of bedside manner is unbelievable.

Shelby Smile has the most courteous and helpful staff. Dr. Murrell is very friendly and the consummate professional. The whole office is inviting and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. I would rather have all my teeth ripped out of my head than go to any other dentist.

Dr. Murrell and his team are very friendly and efficient. They take the time to explain everything, whether it’s a routine cleaning or a filling. They also strictly adhere to the COVID guidelines and at no time did I feel uncomfortable during my visits (3 over the past few weeks lol).
