Went to Johnson County Bariatric and it was a great appointment. Love the staff!! Kind and caring Dr’s and such great and kind staff. You can tell they care about the lives of everyone they come into contact with!!! Thank you!

Went here due to an allergic reaction. My throat felt a little raspy and I started to cough (I also had severe abdominal cramping and full body hives), so went here as a precaution to prevent an anaphylactic reaction. Received oral Benadryl (which I had already taken) and Pepcid. Symptoms ended up dying down around 30-45 minutes later. I know what I am allergic to, and the doctor told me that wasn’t it, only 1-2% of the population has it (alpha gal). Nurse also said I could still eat pork with alpha gal, I said no, I can’t, and she said I could.

Thank you Heather! You're an Amazing nurse. There is so much that goes on behind the waiting room. Spent 12 hours waiting for available room at main hospital. Prairie Star had all my tests completed before I was admitted and shortened my stay significantly. All staff were hustling the entire time and SO BUSY. Yep, I felt horrible but they were doing everything they could. Just one issue: for the idiot that designed the hospital entrance to go beyond a hospital, through a roundabout and back to the entrance, I hope your life never depends on urgency.

Went to the ER after having pains after getting surgery earlier this week. Got treated like I was just there for attention. Came in with a smoothie, because it’s one of the only ways I can control my blood sugar, since I’ve been intolerant to food since my gastric bypass last year. They made a huge deal over the smoothie and even stood outside the door to my room whispering about it more than once. My gastric surgeons are aware that I have these issues. The ER didn’t know enough about my history to treat me like this, they made me feel like I’m the scum of the earth. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Almost a year of dealing with this pain and stuff, still not treated like a person. What a joke.

The ER is horrible. This wasn't the first time that I went to this ER and never wanted to go back but since I was in urgent need and this is the closest one, I went again. Got told I didn't have anything wrong it was just anxiety because I didn't have any symptoms . That was after they treated my symptoms ...so you treated me for something I didn't have, and it worked? 🤨 I got to look at my discharge paperwork to find what the 3 medicines were that they put in my IV, but they don't show anything, talking to other Advent health facilities said that its suppose to include that. Then I try to call the next day so I can find out the 3 medicines they gave me through an IV the night I went in. NO ONE CAN TELL ME. Medical records aren't open besides Monday-Friday, which is truly insane if they a
