Great podiatry in Coconut Creek. My son and I have been long time patients of Dr. Norris for many years and are always treated with the utmost care. If you're in need of a podiatrist in South Florida, Dr. Shawn Norris is the only doctor you should visit. You will be very happy with the effective professional services him and his staff provide.

I took my father here to find out some information about his feet and toenails because they look very bad and he has Diabetes. At first glance, this office looks low rent and would only be a place to visit out of convenience, not even an emergency could bring me here. They do not look like they have the means to take care of an emergency. Dr. Norris is a nice man but seems disinterested in what he does. He cut the hard toenails with the special clippers and said he was done. It took 5 minutes. I had to inquire about why the toes looked abnormal. He said it is Fungus. I still did not understand why they looked abnormal since I know nothing about foot fungus. I asked again, why they look abnormal. I had to get up and physically show him what I meant. It’s unfortunate that one bad person can tarnish your practice’s reputation, but that’s what happened today as a first time patient. Put yourself in my shoes (literally and figuratively). I’m nervous because I banged my big toe badly on Friday, and the nail was coming off. It looked bad, felt bad, and I was waiting nervously all weekend and all through my work day (Monday) for this appointment. I interacted with a friendly front office staff (and caring, I witnessed her walking elderly patients out the door), and a very friendly assistant then took my vitals and recorded them, and said “he will be in shortly,” meaning the doctor. This was my first visit to this practice. I was treated very well and was impressed. Navin the office manager greated me with a nice friendly smile. Millie the nurse was very thorough and even used a device to measure the blood circulation in my feet (I am diabetic). It was the first time I have seen that device and I can't believe nobody used it on me before. Dr. Norris was excellent. He was friendly and listened to what I had to say. My feet are hyper sensitive and he handled them gently. I highly reccomend this practice and I will return.
