Although Dr. Williams does genuinely seem to care, she is so worried about covering her own butt, that she refuses to do anything that would actually help the patient and actually blocks procedures recommended by other doctors. The receptionists are completely inept, and rarely if ever pass information on to the doctor. The only bright spot in the office is the doctor's assistant Trey. He appears to be the only responsible person in this office collecting a paycheck.

This office is the most unorganized, highest-price medical office I have ever been to, ever! The turn-over is insane and the billing department is inept. All of this is why we left and found a fabulous medical office that is efficient, genuinely cares about the patient and billing is accurate and statements are up-to-date each month.

The way they treat patients here is absurd! Was charged $188 for a visit, I was reassured by them specifically that I was covered for and a week later was charged. Went in there to explain that I am a 47 yr old critical congestive heart failure patient that almost died 2 years ago that was forced into permanent disability and had no $ to pay them this $ and not one care in the world. Was told by Mrs. Williams that I was a very complex patient that required them to charge me anyway! Absolutely ridiculous. Will NEVER return here again nor have anything good to say. Was very abrupt and impatient with me in the exam and questioned my disability. Definitely no bedside manner or care for anyone’s issues. Just trying to make a buck on whoever she can trap. Worst doctor visit in Redding yet!

I was a patient for a year or two. Regular bloodwork every 3 months which after a few times with no change in results I thought every 6 months would work for a routine visit. In the meantime, I had tried to call to get my 89 YO mom (who is also a patient) in to be seen after she had pneumonia and wasn't feeling well again. Called the office 27 times on a particular day, left a message, called back the following day and their voice mail was full. That was several months ago and I have yet to receive any return phone call. On a follow up visit with my mom later I told Shauni the difficulty I had had regarding their phones not being answered and said her communication needed to be better for her patients. It's sad when one of the few places accepting new patients offers such substandard service and care. New patient/office visits are the most expensive I've seen anywhere. Fine, provided they are attentive and available. Not the case. It's taken me months to get a simple referral sent to a specialist, and they STILL don't have it. I've lost count how many messages I've left, because they don't answer the phone. Makes one wonder if they are just more about collecting $$$ than they do about people. Do not recommend. I've wasted so much time trying to take of some thing that should be simple. If you have a condition that requires your health care providers to have a sense of urgency, do not become a patient here.
