Sharp Rees-Stealy Santee Urgent Care

This is such a great medical center. The medical personnel is so knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. Wait time wasn’t too bad for urgent care, about 30 minutes. And if you have an appointment, they are almost always on time, if not a little early. I have great confidence in this place!

I just wanted to say what a great staff of true professionals at the Santee Urgent Care. I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly receptionist. It was in the evening when I checked in, not feeling well having the flu. The nurse who took my vitals was friendly and compassionate and made sure that I was comfortable until the doctor could see me. Dr. Schulz was my treating physician and he too was friendly, thorough who really took the time to listen to my concerns, and carefully noted all of my current symptoms. What a great Doctor! Thank you to everyone, I am feeling better today. Thank you all.

After I was admitted, they did a quick assessment. Spoke to the nurse went over my vitals talked to the doctor. He assessed my situation and decided to prescribe correct medication’s. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. I was out of there, and everybody was friendly, helpful, and assisted me with the Helping in getting me well.

This is more of a review of the building, because the care my dad has received has been fine. The building itself has interesting design features, beautiful photo art by Aaron Chang of local landscapes and other personal touches. But the narrow waiting area was very stressful. I could hear everything the receptionists were saying, to each other or on the phone. They have glass in front of them, so it seems they have to speak loudly when talking to patients, and I could easily hear patient information. There's just not enough space designed into the waiting area. The trash cans are located at the very ends of the building. I didn't take a picture of it, but the button for the elevator blends into two other buttons, if you can't see well. I hate to be critical, but there was a lot of stresse

Exceptional care! Was very hesitant to come (because of usual long wait times at urgent care facilities) but wasn’t the case here. Was feeling very unwell, wait time was 30min or so. Check in was smooth and fast. Front desk staff were very patient and polite. The doctor was very pleasant and professional. Had to do xrays, technician was very nice and friendly, explained the procedure in detail. There was a little wait time for doctor and results but it was pretty busy day there. Pharmacy staff was very helpful and explained everything in great detail. 100% excellent service. And received “Get well” card by mail today, signed by Mary which was very pleasant surprise. Definitely much better than expected. Don’t hesitate to come to this urgent care, you’ll be in best hands!
