Do not leave without paying your deductible. I was in town on business an had a cold. I tried to pay my deductible before i left, I was told the machine was down they would bill me. I never received a bill from them and they sent me to collection for a $75.00 bill, which went on my CR.

Had sent a guest from a nearby hotel to the hospital during the night. She had terrible pain and had came back explaining her experience. She was wheeled into the hospital and given no help. The staff were not willing to assist her. Neither did the security help her when she asked if hr could grt their attention of how long she would be waiting. After she was trying to get a manager or supervisor one of the nurses said they were one, which was lying when the actual supervisor came out. The nurses refused to show their nametags and the security was unwilling to help her. How do you call yourself nurses when you can't assist someone who needs assistance? In regards to Alex Cassels comments. It is very unlikely that the patient had this kind of negative encounter. You can't go to a hospital and demand attention. Patients are triaged accordingly' and what they feel to be an emergency doesn;t necessarily equate to and emergency. Everyone in the hospital, even the volunteers are required to wear visible legible name tags while on the clock. Whatever happened with this lady is unfortunate if she was dissatisfied. But! the big picture is the important picture,,, and Sharp Hospital in my experience is extremely in tune with internal and external customer, patient service.
