Dr. Laster is very knowledgeable and I have no doubt is an expert his field. The staff are nice and the office has no shortage of new technology. My issue with this office is every time I’m there it’s just a constant upsell. Every time you turn around they are trying to get more money out of your pocket. The final straw was my last visit getting changed to a medical exam without telling me. So I got to pay for a specialist visit when I checked out. And I’m sure I will be getting an additional bill I don’t yet know about. I’m fairly certain there’s a law about upfront medical pricing. I’ll be seeking a new place for my eye care.

Dr Shane Laster is an incredible doctor and very kind and caring of his patients , I recommend him to anyone for any optermic need he is the very best in my book and goes extra mile to make sure you are taken care of and have clearer vision & a better understanding of what's going on in your situation. He truly has a empathy for your eyes and if your experienceng eye disease or anything he uses most up -to-date procedures and techniques. He has seen me in two eye issues that required monitoring daily and once was in 2001 also 2018. He worked a miracle for me in my experience.

The service was awesome there. Everyone is very friendly, professional and caring. I cannot ask for a better place to get your eyes checked. Thank you Dr. Laster and staff.

The staff is top level supreme! I’ve been seeing Dr Laster for nearly 30 years. If you want a REAL Dr who isn’t afraid of speaking his mind to you and retina specialists, Dr Laster goes to bat for you every time!

Where to start, a doctors office is only as good as your front desk people. In a place where you have a ton of other options choose somewhere else. First they were rude on the phone to my wife when setting up the appointment. Second would not make any effort to verify that they did in fact take my insurance. I got told that it only works in the state of Louisiana, the company I work for is based there but operates in 28 different states. I was also told it won't work anywhere in Fort Smith. I asked if they could call to verify, she said we do not call them for any reason. That just didn't sit right for me so I CALLED and it in fact would work. This was after their insurance specialist said it's Texas insurance and had to ask 3 times for her to speak to them. The doctor seemed nice enough b
