Shamrock General Hospital

I had a very scary to me heart episode yesterday and was taken to Shamrock Hospital. I just recently moved back here to my hometown. I was apprehensive about healthcare and I could not have been treated better anywhere! Dr. Cynthia Moran is such an exceptional doctor and the staff were amazing. Shamrock is so blessed to have them and this hospital!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you!!!

Traveling from Bakersfield California to South Carolina.. I ended up here in a lot of pain. I was immediately attended to. A nurse brought a wheelchair outside for me. As soon as I went through the doors, I was treated like royalty. The time it took from getting my info, symptoms, blood work, IV for hydration, meds for pain, CT scan, results, and discharge instructions.. LESS THAN 2 HRS. It was my gallbladder. The doctors recommended I end my trip and return home to see primary doctor as soon as possible. I did just that. 4 days after being home and waiting for appt... my gallbladder ruptured. I spent 5 days in the hospital. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME THAT DAY. Here in Bakersfield, it's rare to have that kind of experience at an urgent care.

These folks are lifesavers. I was traveling through TX on a very long journey back to OH from CA and had a pretty serious emergency. A 24 hour "emergency center" had refused to even treat me because my insurance is Medicare and I'm disabled. The staff quickly took me in and Dr. Jusan was pleasant, a good listener, and helpful as well. I got the help I needed here and even though it's a very small rural hospital (I could barely see the "Emergency Room" sign from the street) it's extremely clean, well staffed, reasonably modern and professional. Thank you Shamrock General, I wish I could remember the names of the rest of the staff who helped me because they were all wonderful and fixed what was a very bad situation. - Eli L.

If hit ever have a medical emergency I how you are lucky enough to be in the city of Shamrock. The people from the EMTs in the ambulance to the nurses and Doctors were amazing.. Thanks again,. David Dunn

These folks are lifesavers! My dad is a commercial truck driver traveling back to CA. He has been ill for a couple days prior visiting Shamrock hospital. Thank god we found this place, they took great care of him.
