Regret to say my experience with Dr Zafar for the past 6 months have been terrible. Multiple visits and I have gotten no where and it’s a bit frustrating. He does not pay attention to detail and will sometimes brush things off. Please look for a different provider that actually cares and will listen and treat you properly.

I am sorry to report that my experience with Dr.Zafar has been frustrating to say the least. I had a procedure done in early March. It is now August and I still do not have my results after calling and leaving dozens of messages. In addition, every visit is handled by his nurses. He is too busy to talk with you for even a few minutes. After 6 months I still have not heard anything from him. As a clinician myself, I would never treat a patient this way.

I regret to say that my experience with Dr. Zafar has been disappointing. Despite regular visits, we were unable to find a solution to my ongoing issue. I felt that my input as a patient was not adequately considered in the decision-making process. Additionally, there has been a significant delay of over five weeks in approving a necessary prescription, which has been frustrating. Based on my experience, I would recommend seeking another healthcare provider if possible.

Dr. Zafar saved my life. I started with colonoscopy in 2018. More testing and CT scans, he found problems with the sigmoid colon, and a fistula between colon and bladder. During this time, each colonoscopy went flawless and painless. I started adjusting my diet and exercise in preparation for colon surgery. After surgery, I kept waiting for pain and side effects. None. Dr. Zafar checked in with me several times during my 10 day stay at Stamford Hospital. Also his staff checked in with me frequently including his partner Dr. Freitas. The staff working for Dr. Shahzad Zafar is extremely rude.They provide poor communication and do not handle situations with sensitivity. In my experience, anyone associated with Stamford Health customer service is difficult to deal with and has a very unpleasant attitude.
