Shady Nook Care Center

Jewel is a wonderful caring person. She has helped me so much to get the help that I need to have a better quality of life I wish someone would call me so I can tell you all about this asset that you have she's great for the facility and patients. I don't have the words to describe how she went over and above to help me she's just a wonderful lady did I trust my life with you she's just a wonderful lady thank you Jewel Your friend Donnie

I really love and adore this place. They take such great care of their clients. I always see them doing fun activities, and having such a great time. They work in their residents home, and take that job very seriously. It’s such a relief to know my grandma is in such a wonderful place. Lindsey does such a great job taking care of her employees and residents!

I just wanted to share what an amazing place this is! When you walk in, there is NO Nursing Home feel at all. The decor and the encouragement as you walk down the hall are just amazing. All of the staff is so kind, loving, and warm to the residents. they genuinely care about all of the people that are there. If it wasn't so far, I would love for my stepdad to be there. We don't get to come often, as we are 2 hours away from here, but when we do get to come, I am so very happy to see my great Aunt Marie! This last time, I brought some pictures, and the staff wanted to come and see the pics, to see what she looked like younger. They are just so amazing. If you are considering a loved one coming here, you will be so pleased.

My mom is at Shady Nook Care Center with dementia. It's so hard to put a loved one into a home, but when that time comes you can look for ratings all day long on Google to feel better about it, but nothing helps much until you KNOW you're leaving them in good, caring hands. We were scared at first how this was going to work out, but we can happily say Shady Nook has taken very good care of my mom, and even when the pandemic was going full-strength and we couldn't visit, we still knew everything reasonable was being done to protect her. I appreciate Jewel G. especially for her personal touch and even visiting with my parents at their residence BEFORE mom was accepted into Shady Nook to make sure mom would be a good fit with the other residents in her wing. What a great group of caring, professional people! Never thought I would say about a nursing home. My sister was treated with compassion, care & kindness by all. The owners need to make sure to hang onto their staff, they are hard working, caring professionals.
