Shady Grove Pharmacy

I am consistently impressed by the exceptional service provided by Shady Grove Pharmacy. For over a year, Sheila, Geoff, and the entire team have consistently demonstrated kindness and a commitment to accommodating my needs. I honestly don't know how anyone can say anything bad about them. Each month, I rely on them for multiple prescriptions, and they consistently exceed expectations to ensure my medications are readily available and accurately filled. Their compassionate approach sets them apart from other pharmacies I have experienced. I intend to remain a loyal customer as long as their services are available, as their genuine concern for patient well-being is evident. I cannot say enough about these guys. I've been using them for a decade and the only time I had to go somewhere else was because it was something that needed to be ordered and since it was the weekend it wouldn't arrive until Monday. They even helped get the prescription settled at another pharmacy. Everyone there is wonderful, helpful, and approachable. It's even better when Cyrus (their dog) is there - I cannot tell you how many times having him around helped me relax and pull back my ptsd. And tell me another pharmacy that knows your name on sight (and has since my third or fourth visit) or notices when something's off in your prescriptions and SAYS something to you about it. I've used pharmacies from here to Washington State and this is by far my favourite.

As nice as the pharmacy is, the only bad thing is that they have a big black dog sitting in there while customers are coming in and out. The pharmacy is already a bit tight and small inside so the dog being there makes some customers uncomfortable. Not everyone is pet friendly so they need to be considerate. Also, the dog was not a service dog so I dont think they should have a dog inside a pharmacy... besides its not sanitary. Please make that change soon and be a little considerate to your customers.

I called today (9-25-25) to refill my son’s prescription. The lady that answered the phone was very abrupt and said, “we close in ten minutes!!” I didn’t know what to say for a second because I was taken aback by her rudeness. I don’t live in EST zone so I had no idea what time it was there and I also didn’t know that Shady Grove closed promptly at 5pm everyday. Where I live, most pharmacies do not close at 5pm. In any event, I am not able to use a local pharmacy for my son’s specialized prescription so I have to use Shady Grove. I gave her my son’s date of birth - 2-20-12 and she snapped back, “what do you mean? February what? February 1st? February 2nd?” Again, I was taken aback because I hadn’t extended any discourteousness towards her in the entire conversation. I repeated “2-20-12 as

Shady Grove Pharmacy has been instrumental in changing my life. Shelia the pharmacist and owner treated me with such kindness and consideration about my medical issue. She took the time to discuss the medicine in detail and was available to answer any questions that arose throughout my medical treatment. She worked closely with my doctor to provide the highest quality care. I cannot recommend Sheila and the Shady Grove Pharmacy highly enough.
