Seung Yoon Celine Lee, MD - Lotus Rheumatology and Wellness Clinic

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Lee at Lotus Rheumatology. She is a skilled, compassionate physician who genuinely cares about her patients' outcomes. What impressed me most was her willingness to go to bat for me on drug coverage and insurance issues that felt impossible to resolve on my own. She was persistent, informed, and made sure I got access to the treatment I needed. If you need a rheumatologist who is both an excellent clinician and a true patient advocate, Dr. Lee is the one to see. Highly recommended.

Dr. Lee is the most kind and caring doctor I have ever seen. She has truly worked miracles for me! She always takes her time during appointments and never makes you feel rushed. Every visit, she helps me understand more about my body and my condition, and I always leave feeling encouraged and cared for. Her compassion and dedication are unmatched, and her staff is just as wonderful—friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. I feel so grateful to have found Dr. Lee. She has made such a positive difference in my health and my life!

What a miracle my experience has been with Lotus and Dr. Lee. I had tried to get in with other Rheumatologists for my condition but they all turned me down. The unique structure of Lotus allowed me to get an appointment almost instantly. I was able to get a diagnosis and after a few different trials of medications was able to find a treatment plan which has massively reduced my pain tot he point where I am walking again pain free and even getting back to many of the activities I had completely given up on such as running and hiking. I was initially concerned about how my insurance would handle the way lotus works but lotus did a great job of giving me all the documentation I needed. They absolutely saved me. So grateful.

I saw Dr. Lee several years ago at a different facility. I have no idea who this wonderful caring doctor that is that people are reviewing, because when I saw her she was cold and rude with the worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. She belittled me at every visit always insisting that my pain was not caused my anything other than me being “fat.” She refused to listen to family history or acknowledge my symptoms. After I had decided to never subject myself to her insults again, looking through old case notes I realized she wrote down completely different notes than what I had told her. Example: I said my pain is the same all day and at night. She wrote that pain was worse in the morning because it fit with the INCORRECT diagnosis she kept pushing on me. Went to Dr. Lee after bloodwork showed some concerning items (I was referred by my primary doctor). I had previous bloodwork done.and had upload those results to the portal. I asked about certain levels being high and was told that Labcorp isn’t accurate with their testing. More bloodwork was ordered. I had hopes after talking to them that I had a diagnosis, was put on meds and told to come back in about 6 weeks. They also wanted MRI’s on my knees to help with treatment. Things changed a bit when I asked for my office visit notes in order to take them to a neurologist (Dr. Lee recommended this).
