Sesser Animal Hospital

My sweet Hankie boy had to be rushed overnight for help. The vet was able to meet me at 12:45 a.m. and was so compassionate to our needs. I never got her name, but she is one of the younger vets there. Unfortunately, Hank had to be made more comfortable and was given some help to pass from this world. The compassion we were shown from someone who was likely ripped from a deep sleep, has been very comforting to our situation. Hank was a once-in-a-lifetime dog and will forever be in our hearts. Thank you, Sesser Animal Hospital! Truly the best around! ❤️❤️

This is my local veterinarian. I've never had a bad experience there whether taking cats or dogs. I've used their emergency services as well and they were prompt and caring. Overall you can't go wrong with Sesser Animal Hospital.

Today was our first visit,everyone was so kind and loved my Lucy girl. We absolutely love our new vet and staff. We could not ask for a better vet and team for our girl. I would not recommend this vet to anyone for their pet. When things are given to them on a platter and planned for they are great, but the second things get tough they're no where to be found. On 10/18/2025 we arrived home and found our cat very sick. We called Sesser Animal Hospital and explained that he had thrown up large amounts multiple times and they said to we should go to Collinsville. We went. Blood work slightly abnormal, X-rays showed he is constipated but no major concerns. The Collinsville vet did note he had a pretty significant weightloss since our yearly check up in March. She recommended following up with Sesser and doing an ultrasound. We were also told to monitor his litter trips to make sure he was using the litter box as he might need a prescription laxative. Dr. Steve and everyone at Sesser Animal Hospital are fantastic. We brought our senior dachshund to see Dr. Steve and he was the first vet to give us thoughtful, honest advice and care for him. Jasper is no longer with us but we are so thankful that Dr. Steve showed our beautiful little man so much love and attention in the short time we have been coming here.
