Serenity Spring Senior Living at Arlington

I had a great experience at Serenity Springs. Just about everyone I ran into was very friendly to me. I really enjoyed my time with therapy group. They knew what they wanted to accomplish every day. I tried to give them a hard time most of the time but they gave it right back to me which I liked. The nurses were really helpful and they knew what they were doing. I had no complaints whatsoever. Most of the aides were very good and knowledgeable in what there job were. Some of them though needed some more training. The cafeteria staff was great, they have a hard time pleasing everyone though, the food for me was amazing good. I want to thank the whole staff at Serenity Springs for everything.

I had a great experience at Serenity Springs. The staff was friendly, caring, and always made sure I was comfortable. The nurses and therapists really helped me get better, and they were always there when I needed them. The place felt like home, and I was really thankful for the care I received. It was a great place to recover, and I couldn’t have asked for better help.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My mother in law was there and it was the worst experience ever. They are so worried about filling beds and getting money. The care to the residents is on the back burner. There is some amazing staff there and they care, but they are not there all the time. No updates when they say they will give you them. No clean bedding, over 12 hours before they reported an incident Was reported to me. Medication given, but not documented In her chart. It is so sad to see your loved one be treated this way. They say they treat the residence like their family and loved ones, but if that’s how they treat their family and loved ones shame on them.. Our family was very disappointed with how our father/ father in law was treated in his final days at this facility . I should mention he was only here for little over a week. Seems like the administration was more worried about making money than keeping a patient comfortable. Wanting to continue physical therapy, speech therapy, and wound consultation on a dying man instead of letting him rest. Tried to discontinue his liquid morphine in place of crushed Tylenol which is completely unacceptable in a hospice situation. Tried to force food/ trays on him. He hadn’t eaten for a week. Just bites if anything . They stated one day before his death he made a complete turnaround. Forcing his daughter to sit in on a conference to tell her he was getting better. She knew he wasn’t. My cousin was just sent here from the hospital and was only there for a week. We actually just lost her this past Saturday night. I want to say praise to the women and men that work there for being so caring and kind even though my cousin was only there for a short while. I would recommend this place all the way.
