Sentara Urgent Care

I came here with my 1‑year‑old son, and we received outstanding care. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and very thoughtful in how they interacted with my little one. The wait time was extremely short, and the entire visit was efficient and reassuring. It’s clear that the team here truly cares about their patients, including the smallest ones. We had a great experience and felt very well taken care of. Definitely the place to go when you need quick and compassionate care — even though I hope we won’t need urgent care too often!

Go online and set up a "save a spot" I dreaded waiting but was called back within 15 minutes nurses I came in contact with were nice bathroom very clean exam table and room clean as well they didn't have x ray on saturda fortunately I didn't need that the PA was smart and on point If it's in your neighborhood and your copay is reasonable but I think they will bill you because I left my debit card. But I took it back by their today. Go to this spot

I would give a higher review because Provider Jimmy is great. This low review is due to Provider Jeff. He was in my room for less than 3 minutes, checked my lungs for flu or covid and didn’t ask about what symptoms were effecting me or what exactly was going on. He rambled off some meds and dx and walked out. One of those meds, I can’t take. I had to get the nurse back in here to tell her this and complain about the fact that he was in the room for less than 3 minutes. He gave me a basic dx despite me having a history of these symptoms and what they always lead to. I’m almost 43 years old and have spent my entire life in this body. You weren’t even in the room with me for 5 minutes and you think you know my body better than I do? The nurse sent him back and he was just as dismissive and p

Showed up at 7:15pm and they close at 8pm, 1 person was there finishing checking in. Gray haired lady at counter said we are not taking any more patients. There were 3 cars in the parking lot so likely the other person checking in was the only person they were going to see in the next 45 minutes before closing. I wonder if Sentara approves of there employees closing early?

They rush here. I went there because i started feeling sick after my parents got the flu. They took a swab, but barely put the swab in my nose. Incredibly shallow. After that, they ran a quick test and didnt want to do a culture. Their rapid came back negative, and i reminded them the only other people i live with have the flu. They insisted i dont have it then wrapped things up. Fast forward a week, I'm suffering a lot. Went to patient first, turns out i was getting comboed by influenza A and Strep. Checked my email today, these guys have the nerve to charge me $95 for wasting my time and not listening to my concerns. Borderline a scam, do not come here
