Customer Reviews
The staff at this hospital really exceeded my expectations. Every one was kind and courteous and professional, they made out a plan for my recovery that would meet my needs. They worked with me when I told them my concerns, every nurse and nurse tech and respiratory therapist helped me to reach my goals, I could not have asked for better care. I’m truly blessed to be their patient. The physical therapist were great to work with as they had a plan to get me better so that I could return home. The Drs were amazing, they made sure that I was on the correct meds and always involved me while making decisions. I’m lucky to have been able to go to Select Care. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a respiratory problem that needs rehab. I will always be grateful for all the hard work they did
Select Specialty Hospital was an important part of my dad's care journey, and overall we are extremely grateful for the people who work there. Dad (as well as his family members) had the opportunity to build meaningful connections with many of the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and CNAs, and those relationships have made a real difference in our experience. The staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to their patients. Many took the time to explain things thoroughly, listen to concerns, and treat dad as a person—not just a patient—which goes a long way in a long-term care setting. That said, there are times when responsiveness could be improved, particularly when alarms are going off or when the call button is used for assistance. While I understand how busy
I’ve been here since December 15th and I absolutely love it here! Every department that has worked with me has been great, my healing process has been fast & easy, I’ll be leaving sooner than I thought & it’s all thanks to them. I’m gonna miss everyone that made my journey great.
I would not recommend this location to anyone. The majority of the staff are rude, they seem like they don’t like their job, and make you feel neglected. Confusion on docs orders. No one seems to know what’s going on. It takes anywhere from 30-45 for a nurse to respond to the call button. No personal care (bathing) was given for 2 1/2 weeks. Just total patient neglect. Patient had difficult time feeding himself, but no one checked to see his trays were still full. Patient was very depressed being there. I will never send or recommend anyone. Just a toxic environment.
My brother was accepted her for therapy as a patient with a trach. We are from Illinois and we could not find facility close to home that would take him because he had a trach and he needed therapy for strengthening and a broken hip and upper arm. He was expected to be there for 3 to 4 weeks. Little did we all know that by the Grace of God and the help of the Employees of this facility he was there for exactly 1 week. He is now home after laying in a hospital bed from August 22nd to October 11th with no therapy. 2 days before going to Select Specialities was the first time he had been out of bed since his fall. These people are Amazing and they do Gods work for sure. God Bless you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my brother regain his strength and his will to
