Sea Breeze Health Center - Wilmington, CA

I been going to this clinic/doctor since she was on Avalon. I like the way they always try to accommodate you , if possible. Dr. Gayda was my oldest daughter pediatrician and I now take my son. She has always been very respectful towards me and my children. I love that she gives advice to my oldest 💖 whenever we go. She is assertive whenever giving medication. There was a new pediatrician today. My son went in for his physical. She was awesome, great interaction with my son. The staff. Staff is very nice, caring towards my children. Always answering questions to the best of their knowledge.

The one star is for the medical assistant in the window they were nice, they could do better but over all professional and nice. Now the doctor is another story. She has anger issues and does not have patience. She is not checking patients she sits far from you which I understand because of Covid but if I tell you I have an ear problem check me please, (I am vaccinated and I had a negative Covid test) she didn’t check my ears! She says she is not checking anyone because she is old and is afraid of getting Covid!!!! But lady charged $80 for the appointment and then when I called back to get my blood work results she said I have to pay another $50!!!!!!!!! She did it to my 9year old son too. All she does is ask questions but then when you answer she doesn’t let you finish your sentence. Once

Careless staff.. I’ve been waiting on a referral to see a specialist. It’s been almost 2 months. I called the office today to get an update and they said that they are waiting for the insurance to approve it. I decided to call the insurance myself to get an update and they told me that the doctors office never put in a request for the referral. I called the dr. office again to let them know and they now are telling me that the doctor never had an order in my child’s chart for a referral. I asked why every time I call, they tell me they are waiting on the insurance to approve it if the order was never requested in the first place! And the person on the phone, named Jacqueline, didn’t have an answer for me. Unbelievable.

The doctor is very nice and kind with all of us All my family goes there. And is fast service
