Care and detailed education from the doctor seemed appropriate and adequate, though the set-up if the appointment wasn’t as described to me over the phone. I was made to believe our primary visit HAD to be on a specific day of the week and HAD to be in a group setting with other similarly aged kiddos and that we would “break off” with hygienists that my child appeared to connect with best. We were the only ones with this type of initial appointment, had one hygienist meet us. I felt this could have been done any other day/time of the week, more feasibly on a non-scheduled work day for myself.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for the amazing care Dr.J and his team provided to my kids yesterday 11/10. I am especially grateful for the thoughtful attention and prompt care given to our child. The way Dr. J and his team addressed our kids dental needs right away was truly exceptional and so appreciated. This team’s kindness, professionalism, and efficiency made what could have been a stressful visit into such a smooth and positive experience. I am genuinely speechless and incredibly thankful for saving us the inconvenience of another appointment instead, the entire staff went above and beyond to take care of everything with such warmth and expertise.We are very thankful, super fortunate and grateful for all the work Dr. J and his team has put into helping us.

This review is long overdue. My son has been a patient of Dr. J for the past six years, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion we have consistently received. Dr. J is incredibly kind, patient, and relatable; not just to the kids, but also to the parents. My son has sensory challenges, and dental visits were once a huge source of stress for him. From the very beginning, Dr. J took the time to understand his needs and to provide treatment in a way that was gentle, supportive, and tailored specifically for him. Because of that thoughtful approach, my son has grown tremendously in his confidence. The team at Scripps Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is outstanding! From the moment we walk in for every visit, the staff makes us feel welcome and comfortable. The office is clean, well-organized, and very child-friendly, which always makes my son feel at ease during his visit. Dr.J is professional, patient, and cares about his patients’ well-being. Dr. J and the team always explains everything thoroughly and takes the time to answer all of our questions. I especially appreciate their thoughtful referral to ensure my son receives the best possible care after our relocation. The staff here are so great, friendly, fun, and helpful. We’ve been coming here since she was little and they’ve always educated us on how to best care for her teeth.
