Scripps Medical Center Urgent Care Jefferson

I was seen in like 10min(fast!) by a triage nurse who took vitals and asked what's wrong. I was a relatively intermediate health case, nothing major. Total time spent from arrival to discharge was 1.5hours. After i saw the nurse i was sent to get my labs done, and then waited in waiting room again to be called back again to see the er doc. Very kind staff. Most of the people in the waiting room seemed to mostly have flu, i didn't seen anything major. On the way out of the hospital room i saw a sign that had expected wait times which matched up almost exactly to what i experienced. So i was very pleased to not have to sit in the er for 6 hours. If i have any health emergency again I'll definitely come back here.

Hands down, FASTEST healthcare service I’ve ever experienced. I was seen at urgent care, got blood work and imaging done at lightening speed and results were out within an hour for Dr to review with me. I was on the other side of the building while waiting and the staff personally called me to see if I was still around rather than skipping my turn because I wasn’t around. That phone call was highly appreciated otherwise I would’ve waiting indefinitely. Friendly staff all around. Thank you everyone!

Honestly, wait time sucked, I was there for like 5 hours total BUT they actually listened to my concerns and were very thorough about trying to find out what was wrong with my body. I went to another urgent care prior, they were fast, but basically wrote me off as a hypochondriac. Turns out I needed antibiotics for something the other clinic didn't even try to diagnose. I would rather wait hours to get solutions to my illness that 30 minutes to be dismissed and not get the care I actually needed. I understand why they have such long wait times, they actually listen and care. Very glad I went here. I will continue going to this urgent care with my issues that the one prior

this location is my go-to for urgent care needs. recently came in for a broken bone in lots of pain, was hard to walk. the lady at reception was warm & friendly like usual. the nurses ive had are informative and kind, albeit clearly swamped. waits can get long, it isnt cheap, they didnt offer any meds nor a boot for my broken bone, but these issues are the fault of Corporate Greed not the workers.

I was told by ucsd to visit any urgent care near my home due to extreme pain from broken back. I chose scripps jefferson. I checked in with my ucsd health/scan insurance card, no problems. I was called into triage, after 4 tries for blood pressure the nurse told me she rcvd a msg from the attending dr they would not treat me as I was a patient at ucsd. Odd as their online info states they treat all including those from ucsd. I left in tears due to pain having rcvd no care.
