Scottish Rite Hospital

Came in late to visit my girlfriend and child and was immediately dropped into what felt like an escape room designed by people who don’t communicate with each other. I was told I wasn’t “on the list,” then given two options (both reasonable), which I followed exactly. After waiting… and waiting… and waiting some more, I kept being asked if I said Room 240, 340, 341—apparently numbers are more of a suggestion here. When I finally was cleared, I asked for directions and was sent on a scavenger hunt through hallways, walls, and eventually a parking deck elevator that literally told me to go back to the security desk. At that point I’d been lost longer than a checked bag at ATL. Only after directly asking—very clearly—for someone to physically walk me to the elevator did that finally happen.

I was thoroughly pleased and put at ease by the exceptional care my daughter received at Scottish Rite! The hospital was sparkling clean, and the wait time for her surgery was surprisingly short. The staff are truly special - they have a heart for working with children, and it shows in their kindness, patience, and compassion. Every single person I met during my daughter's surgery was phenomenal, and I'm forever grateful for their dedication to their work. Special shout-out to Dr. Bhatia, an amazing pediatric surgeon who took great care of my daughter and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process!
