The nurses and staff here are nothing short of amazing. They've showed my mother such kindness and attentiveness and my gratitude to them is beyond words. My mother has been dealing with alot of medical issues over the past year due to a cardiac arrest. She has been in and out of hospitals and facilities since then and hasn't gotten any diagnosis or real help at all. This is the first place she has been through her whole journey that I feel has actually cared to help her or figure out what her issues are. This is also the first place she has ever been that she hasn't begged me to come home, actually quiet the opposite where she actually enjoys being there. Having spent time in this facility, its easy to see that the entire staff, top to bottom, genuinely care for their residents. From the Administration to the amazing nurses and aides, therapy, dietary and maintenance, they all strive daily to ensure a safe, welcoming and healing environment. I had back surgery at Mercy Hospital on 10/22. I was told I would have to go to a rehab center. I fought my family for days about going to one. I ended up going to Scottdale Manor . I have to say the staff was compassionate, caring, kind, accommodating. The facility was also clean.
