Go somewhere with modern equipment. This place has ancient equipment and doctor is all up in your face moving around the dials. For the same price go somewhere that’s modern. Went for a visit and somehow vision improved lol. I recommend they take a business loan and invest in modern equipment. They also try to upsell you glasses before giving you your results.

Feels like going back in time to when people truly cared about giving excellent service. Really friendly and professional service from both the staff and Dr. Schrier. A breath of fresh air in today's age of impersonal corporate customer experiences. Thanks!

How do you run an optometrist office and not include pupillary distance in the eye exam? On top of that they want too charge that separately, I really don’t care to pay the extra but they couldn’t let people know that is needed too? Not to mention I asked a lady once to put my glasses in a new frame and she put it the wrong way had me walking with a weird vision.

Ancient equipment, overpriced, poor customer service. Dusty old store. Closed for multiple days without a heads up. I wanted to support a local business but this place needs to be CLOSED and a more modern facility needs to take its place. Astoria deserves better.

MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT YOUR FRAMES BEFORE LEAVING. My first experience was great, then today I needed replacement frames and lenses for my daughter and I encountered the worst service from Barbera. She tried to pack my daughters glasses without me inspecting them and tossed them to the glass rather than handing them to me. I pulled out the sloppily packed cloth and seen the crack she then was then immediately talking over me gaslighting me whilst increasing her tone. I let her know I will wait till she's done talking to express my concerns. I refused the lenses and frames because these frames were not the same as my daughter had prior, and asked why they wouldn't check prior to calling us to pick up she replied with "they just don't!".
