I have been a patient at Scarborough Integrative Health under the care of Dr. Zarembka for over three years. Until recently, I had always been billed appropriately for direct provider time. My most recent experience was, however, deeply disappointing. At my last visit, I was billed for “chart preparation and documenting”—something that had never been charged in the past. When I reached out to clarify, I received no response. Instead, my card was charged WITHOUT my authorization, which felt both unprofessional and unethical. After confirming Lyme and many co-infections, Dr. Aguiar did not know how to treat what I had and I ended up giving up and self treating with essential oils and herbs. I spent thousands of dollars for no comprehensive plan and basically left in the dust afterwards with no follow up. Just another disappointing "Lyme Literate" clinic.

Dr. Zarembka is the first doctor who ever spent significant time with me discussing my concerns and really thinking through a treatment plan.
