I was disappointed with my recent visit to this office. When I arrived, the front desk staff asked and shared confidential questions and information out loud in the waiting area, where other patients could clearly hear. This felt like a violation of privacy and made me very uncomfortable. Patient information should be handled discreetly and in compliance with privacy standards. I hope the office reviews its check-in procedures to ensure confidentiality is respected in the future.

Very disappointed in office staff and their unprofessional response to a mistake they made in failing to notify a patient of the second appointment the office cancelled in a 2 week period. I was sent a confirmation text of my appointment 4 days before arriving at office. Upon arrival I was told it was cancelled, and they no longer text patients due to the amount of elderly patients that do not understand texts so they called my home phone to leave a message. (I have a video of my home phone's call history and there was no phone call from Old Saybrook Dermatology). Mistakes happen and I was expecting an apology. Instead the receptionist told me the "only other way she could notify me was to drive to my house which is illegal." Well, they had just texted my confirmation 4 days ago so why

Please don't send your loved ones to this place. My husband had to go for 6 months for a lip lesion. His lesions got bigger and they could not determine if it was a ,squamous cell cancer. Told to use a chemo prescription cream that is used for basal cell not squamous cell,so again the lesion got bigger. The cancer kept growing and he had to have an emergency visit to a Moh's surgeon and endure 3 hours of surgery to his lip. All of this could have been avoided if treated properly. Very upset and will never go to this office again.

I always appreciate the care I receive from Saybrook Dermatology. This was my first time seeing Dr Higginson and she was attentive to my questions and concerns, thorough in providing treatment and follow-up steps, and friendly. I feel confident in my healthcare with Dr Grey and Dr Higginson.

Dr Gray always makes me feel like she’s not rushed, performs a thorough exam, explains findings and next steps, is a good listener and gives me peace of mind in terms of my dermatology health. I have trusted her for 15 years and will continue to put my faith in her.
