We chose this practice because we were seeking a more holistic approach to pediatric care and flexibility around the standard vaccine schedule, which many other pediatricians in the area refuse to offer. Unfortunately, our experience here was deeply disappointing. As new parents, we came in with questions and concerns, expecting guidance and support. Instead, Dr. Sommer repeatedly spoke to us in a condescending and dismissive manner that made us feel belittled rather than cared for. When I expressed my desire to exclusively breastfeed and work on increasing my supply, her response was, “Up to you if you want to be a human pacifier all the time,” which felt rude, inappropriate, and entirely unsupportive. I can’t say enough good things about SIP!! We absolutely ADORE Charmaine and all the other staff and providers! She is very knowledgeable and so pleasant to be around! I never feel rushed, judged or dismissed like I have at other clinics. This is the only clinic I’ve been to where it’s clear that all the staff communicate with each other regarding patient concerns and needs as a whole! It’s impressive what they started 4-5 years ago and I’m so grateful we found them in our pediatric search!

I’ll also be honest about our experience. We were denied care by 3–4 pediatric practices around Savannah simply because we preferred a scheduled, intentional approach instead of an all-at-once or every 2 weeks model. That was difficult, especially as new parents just trying to do what we feel is best for our daughter. I want to publicly thank and shout out Savannah Integrative Pediatrics. They have been hands-on, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in getting to the root of things, not pushing needles, not brushing concerns off, and not hiding behind “every baby is different” without real explanation. If you’re looking for care that listens, they’ve been a blessing to our family and have charted a true course for us as new parents.

A wonderful office who listens to your concerns and do not force anything on their patients. They have holistic balms & elderberry syrup in office. It’s hard to get in because they are just that good! Will never take my child to another as long as they’re around. Charmaine Pham deserves all the recognition! We absolutely love her. They are a saving grace given the other offices in the area.

My wife and I chose SIP to help us raise our child in a holistic form of medication. Our experience was horrible. It was our babies first ever appointment (he was 4 days old). The building is old. The baseboards were lathered with gunk. The nurse practitioner was very unprofessional. She had horrible interpersonal skills and did nothing but stress my wife out. She left feeling like she was failing as a mother. The nurse also stated many comments that were untrue. We know this because we immediately scheduled another appointment with Pediatrics Associates of Savannah and the doctor there rebuttaled a lot of what she said. I am giving a one star because I can’t give zero.
