I am a new patient. Dr. Winchell appears OK. However, his support staff sucks. His assistants are rather unprofessional. They are rather impolite and I have not seen them with a smile on their face. My prescription was not called in. Went to my pharmacy 30 minutes away from where I live and no prescription. I called the office and left two separate voicemails. No call back. Before writing this message I called the office manager and asked to speak to Dr. Winchell specifically stating I had a complaint. They did not put me through, and to date, Dr. Winchell has not called me back. Still waiting for my prescription. 10 days after seeing the Doctor. I guess I will now have to look for another Orthopedic Surgeo

My experience with Dr. Winchell and his staff was excellent: Waiting times at my appointments were reasonable, surgery was set in a timely manner and they responded quickly when I had a fall and was a bit panicked about it. AND there is a therapy dog! Orthopedic surgery is not fun. This is a small clinic with one doctor that worked efficiently to get my situation handeled.

I hesitated for many months before writing this review. I complained to the Physician about the fact that the staff did not call back even when one was in PAIN less more when it was "just" a question to be asked, It took 5 days for an Rx to reach the Pharmacy(this was said to be the Pharmacy's fault though I had not had this problem with them before). I have also had to tell young 30 something people to address me by my last name or by Ms & my first name. It is insulting to have young people disrespect a 72 year old, quite well educated retired teacher by calling her by her first name. I realize that it may not be easy-but I have even written it phonetically.My students could do it. I am still waiting (2/14/18 )for a call back-The young woman that I spoke with before leaving the state

Dr. Winchell took the time and effort to diagnose my knee pain when the other doctor at the larger Ortho group couldn't/wouldn't. He was also conservative with treatment for my son's knee injury -unlike that other group who wanted to go straight to surgery. Thank goodness too because with therapy my son's knee is just fine.

Well I just want to say that my experience with this office was not very good ...I broke my tibial and fibula back in may was only supposed to be 3 to 4 months then back on my feet ...but it turned into 8 months but the pain never went away or the bad swelling I kept saying something isn't right ...he did all kinds of text and x-ray but nothing so he sent me to optiom orthopedic with in 10 minutes they said your metal plates are broken in half. .so no not a very good place and also the staff likes to take lunch when they want not by their policy. ...went ther a few Times to get medicine was on lunch 45 minutes to a hour before ther lunch .....oh and I ended up having the whole surgery done again just a few weeks ago ....
