I came in to the or immediatley due to a burst appendix, i was treated by dr kimbal and he was great. After when i was ready to go home himself and his staff came to check on me. I was honored that they had time to make sure i was good. Thank you Dr. Kimbal and his team you are very much appreciated for your skills and bed side manner. Ty

The gastroenterologists that Saratoga Hospital rotates for their in-patient emergency care were truly horrible. Zero bedside manner, condescending, and deeply control hungry individuals. They make it clear that you will be doing what they say, the treatment routes they force, without your input which is odd since it's not their body. To demonstrate how much they don't listen, I told the ER doctor (a gastroenterologist) that I am ALLERGIC to Morphine and he put it into my IV line anyway. It was clear he was not listening or why else would he put it in my IV line while I was sleeping? The nurse apologized for his behavior when he left the room and realized what he had done, although the doctor did not. I had a successful anterior hip replacement with some atypical complications with the sedation and opioids used which required admission dues to low blood pressure. All I can say is thank you to everyone I interacted with from admission for surgery to my exit. Great nursing and floor care in combination with compassionate supports throughout is what anyone needs, and you all nailed it, my family and I are forever grateful.

This review is for the Saratoga Springs Hospital OB/GYN. My wife and I were with them for the entire pregnancy. Throughout the entire pregnancy, the staff at all levels have been exemplary. My wife's health needs were extremely well met. Our child's needs exceeded. The level and knowledge and confidence they exhibited was refreshing for a first time father. Thank you Saratoga Springs Hospital for having a stellar maternity division! All of your nurses, doctors, mid-wives, PAs, specialists, and nurses (worth repeating) were fantastic.

Recently brought someone to the emergency room for shortness of breath. Absolutely understand that ER’s are full right now - but on the discharge paperwork it shows incorrect information (weight/height), high blood pressure (not mentioned during the visit), the patient was not roomed, there was no Covid test conducted, no x-rays taken, just guidance to leave and return if things worsen. Despite confirming the pharmacy for medication upon discharge, since no other care could be provided, there were no prescriptions sent in until following up by calling the ER back. When asked why the prescriptions were not written on the discharge paperwork (as it states) or automatically sent in, staff reported “I don’t know why”. This individual is now back in the emergency room at Glens Falls hospital. W
