Sara Julazadeh, OD: Mission Hills

I have been a patient of Dr. Julazadeh for a few years now and have had a great experience every time! Also - the optical department is always incredibly helpful. The only area for improvement would be that there is a shared admin office space that clients have to wait in between the optical department and the doctor’s exam, and it could be very easy to violate HIPPA in that space when the admin staff are talking to each other about client scheduling. I wish the space was more private, for both staff and patient benefit. Overall, very pleased with their services though!

My recent experience was slow competence. I was told they were short handed, so it took a little longer, but they did a good job. I’d rather have them do a good job slowly than rush and miss something.

The Doctor was very thorough and explained all my issues in an understandable fashion. She was not only polite but generated an atmosphere of caring. The staff was cheerful and competent.

Parking difficult,. Front office staff, caring and welcoming! Nancy whom did initial processing and test was excellent but focused on task and lacking just a little personal connection. Dr. Sara J made me feel comfortable but the bright light directly into my dilated eyes physically hurt (7 on pain scale), I wanted to jump out of the chair. She handled it well as could be. Thank you for the overall good initial visit.

Sara Julazadeh is always very personable and does a a great job explaining information and answering questions. Her staff is kind and professional and the entire office staff is welcoming.
