Santos Primary and Urgent Care - Sumter Landing

I recently had an emergency surgery and I must say that it was a wonderful experience! I want to give huge kudos to Adam Santos of Santos Primary and Urgent Care. He called me after hours on his personal cellphone to inform me that I needed to report to the hospital immediately for emergency surgery. He then called ahead to the hospital to inform them of my situation. As a result, I was given timely and complete attention. Adam is more than a healthcare provider. He is a friend and treats every person with extra attention and always goes the extra mile. His staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Today, I needed to visit a local physician to remove some sutures from a facial surgery site. Adam Santos, PA-C, did an excellent job of removing the stitches, and was very knowledgeable about the suture process and the post op care of the site. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. During my visit today, I was reminded that I had forgotten to leave a review from my visit earlier this year. On July 4th, 2025, I had a UTI and was having a difficult time finding a local Urgent Care unit nearby to my home. I found the Santos Primary and Urgent Care unit near Sumter Landing using Google Maps, which I later discovered is open all year round, including holidays. This was a blessing in my situation. Adam Santos and his staff are compassionate, thorough and very accessible since they are are both a primary care and urgent care facility If you need a new provider look no further!

This place was so amazing. I had hurt my back and when I walked in they took the best care of me. The front staff was so nice and the provider was so caring and efficient. I was seen in a quick amount of time and got to feeling better fast. I would highly recommend anyone needing walk in urgent care to go here.

Adam and the staff at Santos have greatly improved our health and quality of life. Before our visit to Santos Primary and Urgent Care, the doctors my husband was seeing completely ignored his lab reports and verbal comments about how he was feeling and did not prescribe the needed diabetic medication. Nor did they take notice of his sudden spike in PSA of 7.5. Adam immediately noticed these things and put my husband on diabetic medication and sent him to a Urologist. The doctors I had been seeing ignored my complaint of increasing neck and back pain. They told me it was a part of getting older, and my request for an X-ray was refused.
