I was in excruciating pain. My heel pain made it impossible to walk. I researched for a podiatrist and Dr. Patel had great reviews so I booked an appointment. I am so glad I booked an appointment with Dr. Patel. His staff greets you with a smile and has a great attitude. Dr. Patel also greets you with a smile, has a positive attitude and very knowledgeable about feet. I am extremely happy that I am walking without pain and I found a doctor who cares about the needs of his patients. I definitely will continue seeing Dr. Patel as needed. Thank you for giving me my life back. When your feet hurt so does everything else!!!

Love Dr. Patel. Knowledgeable, kind, and a good sense of humor. He made me feel listened to, and very comfortable before my surgery. Had a cheilectomy with him and already have more mobility in my foot just over 2 weeks post op. Highly recommend him. 🩷

I have been complaining of severe bunion/foot pain for several years. As the bunion got larger and extremely sensitive I resigned myself to wearing flip flops and limping. Two previous foot/ankle surgeons had told me (5 years apart) that surgery was too involved etc. My rheumatologist had once asked me , “well didn’t they even suggest shaving the bone down?) Nope. You get the picture. I somehow made an appointment at Dr Patel’s office on October 9, 2023. After he heard my symptoms and story he did ultrasound and recommended a shot. I didn’t even ask of what! I barely felt it, I’m walking normal and my knees and back even feel better!!! Dr Patel said surgery years ago would have been easier ( lot of arthritis and bone spurs) .Wish I had been to him then. Still can’t believe I’m pain free!

Dr Patel is very good but his staff leaves alot to be desired. Today was the second time they screwed up my appointment. The first time,they didn't have me down as scheduled even though I had an appt card proving the appt date and time .Today I showed up in hamden( where I always go )for a rescheduled appt and the office was closed. I made a call and whoever answered said Dr Patel would not be back in hamden until April! My original appt was Feb 28th and the woman who took my cancellation call rescheduled me for a date that the office was closed. Going forth I will call the office the day before to make sure I don't show up for nothing. Very aggravating and crazy that this happened to me twice in less than 6 months.
