Sanitas Medical Center

Sanitas is suddenly worthless in 2026. Their website won't load, their app is useless for making appointments, their call center is nearly incomprehensible, and they simply shut down one of their more convenient Tallahassee locations. My insurance premium increased by 64% but now it's harder than ever to get care. Welcome to health care in 2026 in the USA. Sanitas is doing well upholding a standard of decreasing worth.

This is a new facility and the in-person experience is very good. However, there is essentially no on-line capability if you are using your existing insurance. No way to setup appointments on-line via the web or app, and no way to exchange messages with your doctor. So the only option is a phone call, but the local line is often unavailable and the main Sanitas line is clunky to use. I tried for two weeks to get my doctor to fill in an insurance prior approval form, with all contact at 3rd hand, and in the end she refused to do so. With better communication options I would have saved two weeks and perhaps even got my form submitted.

I’ve been a patient for about two years now. The facility is very clean and the staff are awesome. My favorite nurse is Jasmine. She is very kind and patient. She’s very helpful at making you feel comfortable. Mrs. Rachel goes above and beyond to help you with your needs.

While Nurse Parker and her assistant are great, the rating is due to my latest interaction with another associate, who does not understand when patient has separate insurances (One for medical, one for prescriptions). The two companies does not care what the other is doing. My prescriptions will not be covered my medical insurance it will go to my prescription insurance. So if you have seperate insurances be WARNED!

Where do I begin. I have been seen by Dr Castro and Rachel Parker. I am always absolutely pleased with my visits. 10 out of 10. However, a new pleasantry has arrived to the office by the name of Jazmin(e). She called me back and took my vitals. She also drew blood for my labs!! FLAWLESS!! Her bedside demeanor and spirit is exactly what this world needs more of. She's a quiet and super kind person with EXCELLENT energy. Can't wait to give blood again. lol These three people make me look forward to coming back here for my next visit. (That and the Harbor Freight just down the way) Never loose your fire Jazmine. The world needs it!!
