I scheduled a walk in appointment for my daughter for a bad cough and knee injury. We seen Vanessa Nelson, she was very rude towards the end of the appointment and kept snatching the paper out of my hand when I would ask her what numbers to call. I asked for three different numbers for my daughter so long story short be prepared for this particular pediatrician to be unprofessional. I was very disappointed the way we were treated today and no testing was done about her cough. I'm taking her somewhere else from here on out!

This place is a joke. My family moved to the Bismarck area and needed a pediatrician. They will not schedule an appointment for your kid unless the have the medical records from the previous pediatrician. Then when you try to get them those records they make you go in and fill out an ROI, which is a waste of time because they end up LOOSING the ROI!!!! How can you trust a place with your child’s health if they can’t even keep their paperwork in order. Needless to say we found a small wholistic pediatrician that was 10 times easier to work with (emailed the ROI so I didn’t have to go in anywhere) and was able to schedule my sons appointment without the records. Don’t even get my started with the customer service… the guy that “helped” me was extremely rude. Do not take your child here.

Sanford is one of the worst run hospitals in the country, and unfortunately the only option in this poor city. Whatever your appointment time is, you can show up an hour later and still have to wait around because they "forget to call you" and instead call back walk ins that showed up 30 minutes after you.

A frustrating and demoralizing experience I wouldn’t wish on any parent. We have taken our baby here on several occasions for an issue that keeps getting progressively worse. The results across multiple visits are always the same. The impression I’ve gotten is that the doctors will fight you tooth and nail to convince you that nothing is wrong (when it appears to be quite clear something is wrong). Although there have been some good moments (I.e., the occupational therapist, nurses, etc.), the care from the physicians seems devoid of any real sense of urgency or direction in general. The two stars is meant to reflect my sincere attempt to be fair in this review in light of some good moments, but the above-referenced frustrations are beginning to weigh down our family’s experience here. This review is based solely on the staff members, rather than the services or care provided. Be warned. Most of the staff members at Sanford Children's North are the most unprofessional, self-entitled, and immature people I have ever had to deal with. If you have a chance to go to any other Children's Clinic, please consider it. I would not want the care of my child in the hands of someone who acts and thinks like a child. Managment is run in a "piss-poor" fashion and if you have had any experience here within the last year, you will notice all the "fresh faces" due to the fact that most employees leave the first chance they get. Something needs to be done to create a healthier working environment. I know that this review is harsh but these things needed to be said. Again, I do want to s
